7 Nishchay: How to Confirm and Track SHA Application Status

Under the "Arthik Hal, Yuvan Ko Bal" initiative, the Bihar government provides the Mukhyamantri Nishchay Swayam Sahayata Bhatta Yojana (SHA). This scheme offers a monthly allowance of ₹1,000 to unemployed youth (aged 20-25) while they search for jobs.

To ensure you receive your payments without interruption, you must know how to track your status and perform the monthly Web Reconfirmation.

1. How to Check Your SHA Application Status

If you have already submitted your documents at the DRCC (District Registration and Counseling Centre), follow these steps to see if your application is approved:

  • Visit the Official Portal: Go to 7nishchay official website
  • Click on "Application Status": Locate this tab on the top menu bar of the homepage.
  • Enter Your Credentials: You can track your application using either your Registration ID or your Aadhaar Number.
  • Provide Date of Birth: Enter your DOB as per your official documents.
  • Submit: Enter the Captcha code and click "Submit." The system will show whether your application is Pending, Approved, or Rejected.

2. The Confirmation Process (Web Reconfirmation)

The most critical part of the SHA scheme is the Monthly Reconfirmation. To continue receiving the ₹1,000 allowance, the beneficiary must confirm every month that they are still unemployed and not enrolled in any higher education.

  • Login to the Portal: Use your username (email ID) and password received during registration.
  • Find SHA Reconfirmation: Look for the "SHA Reconfirmation" link in the dashboard.
  • Submit Declaration: You will need to click a checkbox declaring that you are currently seeking employment and have not found a job yet.
  • OTP Verification: A one-time password (OTP) will be sent to your registered mobile number/email to verify the confirmation.
  • Note: If you fail to reconfirm for consecutive months, the government may stop your allowance permanently.

    3. Key Requirements for SHA Approval

    • Age Limit: 20 to 25 years.
    • Education: Must have passed Class 12 (Intermediate) but should not be pursuing higher education.
    • KYP Training: It is mandatory to complete the Kushal Yuva Program (KYP) training to remain eligible for the full duration of the allowance.
